MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY 16TH

APRIL 2009 IN BACKWELL PARISH HALL, AT 1900 HOURS

023      The minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held on 19.3.09, copies having been circulated were confirmed as a correct record by those present at that meeting and signed by the Chairman.

 

5.         TO NOTE PLANNING APPLICATION RESOLUTIONS OF PARISH COUNCIL

            OF 2ND APRIL 2009

 

a.         PLANNING APPLICATION NO. 09/P/0405/F - HSBC BANK,

            RODNEY ROAD, BACKWELL - HBSC BANK PLC CORPORATE

            REAL ESTATE - Construction of external ramp, steps and handrail to

            facilitate disabled access

            Resolved: Unanimously no objection

 

b.         PLANNING APPLICATION NO. 09/P/0456/WT - COMBE

            HOUSE, 62 CHURCH LANE, BACKWELL - MR J LEWTHWAITE -

            Leylandii x 2 - crown reduce by 30%, Yew x 1 - Reshape reducing lateral

            growth, no reduction, Group of trees along roadside - reduce all to approx.

            4m from ground

            Resolved: Unanimously no objection presuming that all wildlife be

            protected

6.            TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING PLANNING APPLICATIONS:-

 

            a.    PLANNING APPLICATION NO. 09/P/0472/F - CHELVEY FARM,

            HILLSIDE ROAD, BROCKLEY - MR N SPRATT - Alterations to

            windows and doors on front, rear and side elevations.  Erection of new

            chimney stack to side elevation.  Erection of 3 no. dormers and 2 no.

            rooflights to rear elevation.  Re-roofing of existing conservatory.  Demolition

            of existing single storey rear store.

026      Cllr S Ould joined meeting

 

            b.   PLANNING APPLICATION NO. 09/P/0533/F - THE FIRS, 21

            HYATTS WOOD ROAD, BACKWELL - MR & MRS CAGZALL -

            Erection of first floor side extensions and rear conservatory

027      Resolved: Unanimously Backwell Parish Council objects on grounds of

            it being overbearing and it does not conform with Green Belt Policy as

            with previous application no. 08/P/2140/F.

 

There being no further business the Chairman thanked everybody for attending and closed the meeting at 1908 hours.
