The minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held on 20.08.09 copies having been
circulated were confirmed as a correct record by those present at that meeting and signed by

5. TO CONSIDER PARISH COUNCILS AIRPORT ASSOCIATION EVIDENCE
RE BRISTOL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The Planning Committee discussed Cllr T Collinson's letter and the Chairman informed
members that he had read the lengthy report from the Parish Councils Airport Association. It was felt that the Parish Council would keep to their original proposal and policy, and
noted Cllr Collinson's input and hard work.

TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING PLANNING APPLICATIONS:-
a. Planning Application No. 09/P/1590/F - Beechwood, Square
Close, Potters Hill, Backwell - Mr B Short - Erection of dwelling
following the demolition of existing dwelling
064 Resolved: Unanimously that Backwell Parish Council stands by its
original objection that the planning application does not comply with GDP/3
b. Planning Application No. 09/P/1622/F - 5 St Andrews
Road, Backwell - Mr & Mrs S Mitchell - Erection of 2 storey
side extension and single storey rear extension
065 Resolved: Unanimously no objection as it would appear that that problems of the
windows overlooking the adjoining property (no. 4) have been addressed
There being no further business the Chairman thanked everybody for attending and closed the meeting at 1905 hours
