It's that time again! The Over 60's Christmas Tea Party will take place on Thursday 28th November at 2.00pm in the Parish Hall. The tickets are free and can be collected from the Parish Office, 43A Rodney Road, Backwell on the following dates between 10.00am – 12.00 noon: Tuesday 7th November Tuesday 14th November Tuesday 21st November If you are unable to get to the office for a ticket, please call the Parish Team on 01275 464653 or email and we'll see what we can do to help.

The Over 60's Christmas party will take place in the Parish Hall on Thursday, 30th November at 2.00pm. You can collect your free tickets from the Parish Office in Rodney Road on Tuesdays 7th, 14th or 21st November between 10.00am – 12.00 noon. Big Jubilee Celebration Backwell Parish Council are organising a Big Jubilee Celebration on Sunday 5th June at the Backwell playing fields. The free to enter event will run from 12.00 Midday until 5pm. Bring along a picnic and celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at this Backwell community get together! Children (and adults!) will be able to make their own decorated crown! So come along dressed as your favourite King/Queen/Prince/Princess ready to wear your Jubilee creation! There will be children’s activities, a classic car display, refreshments and displays from local Backwell groups. There will also be music and a fun dog show, so there really will be something for everyone! Come and join us!
