5. To consider the following planning applications:
a. Planning application no. 17/P/2547/F 44 Backwell Hill Road, Backwell – Formation of side extension to existing dwelling house to form a single bedroom granny annex – Mr & Mrs Michael Naughton
081 Resolved: Unanimously no objection

T1 – Leyland Cypress – fell – Mr Martin Parish
082 Resolved: Unanimously Backwell Parish Council supports the
recommendations of NSC Tree Officer
c. Planning application no. 17/P/2586/F Backwell Rugby Football Club, Backwell – Provision of a zip wire within established playing fields for the use and enjoyment of all park users – Mr A Gould
083 Resolved: Unanimously Backwell Parish Council object to this application as there is already currently existing planning permission 16/P/2924/F for a zip wire installed on the Backwell Playing Fields granted on 23 January 2017. Backwell Parish Council is of the opinion that the current complaints due to noise impact on the local residents can be alleviated to some degree by imposing a condition that the current zip wire must be secured at night to prevent out of hours anti-social use causing a detrimental impact to the neighbouring residential properties
084 There being no further business the Chairman thanked everybody for attending and closed the meeting at 1915 hours
