Mac Mic Strategic Land Public Exhibition – Land North of Farleigh Road (East Backwell)

Mac Mic Strategic Land is holding a public exhibition to present proposals for around 450 new homes, public open space, new facilities, and infrastructure on land north of Farleigh Road (East Backwell). This site is being considered for development in the latest draft of North Somerset Council’s new Local Plan.

Backwell Parish Council has been informed of these intentions by Mac Mic Strategic Land and understands that invitation letters will be sent to residents shortly.

We want to be clear: Backwell Parish Council opposes development in East Backwell and is committed to safeguarding the area. BPC has made this position clear to Mac Mic Strategic Land.

The exhibition is part of an early-stage pre-proposal consultation – not a formal opportunity to object, but an important chance to gather information and have your say.
