044 Resolved: Unanimously Cllr M Gibbons-Price be elected as Chairman to the
Planning Committee. Cllr Gibbons-Price signed the Chairman’s Acceptance
of Office, witnessed by the Clerk

6. Update on Moor Lane
052 The Chairman reported on a recently attended site meeting with NSC, where the location
of the entrance into the proposed development was discussed
7. Update on Farleigh Fields
053 Members had previously been advised the application had recently been refused by NSC
8. To consider the following Planning Applications:
a. Planning application no. 16/P/1289/F Moss Nook, Moor Lane,
Backwell – Erection of a hip to gable roof extension to provide
additional living space and extension of existing garage change roof
from flat to pitched – Mr & Mrs M Beaumont

b. Planning application no. 16/P/1295/NMA 1 Karen Drive, Backwell –
Application for a Non material amendment to application 16/P/0011/F
(Erection of a two storey front/side/rear extension and a single storey
side/rear extension to simplify the roof details and design to
improve room layout and to step the single storey southern wall
back from the boundary) – Mr B Tresidder
