045 The minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held on 15.6.17 were confirmed as a correct record by those present at that meeting
5. To consider the following planning applications:
a. Planning application no. 17/P/1492/F 18 Embercourt Drive, Backwell –
Two storey side extension – Mrs J Marr
046 Resolved: Unanimously Backwell Parish Council has no objection, but
would like to bring to the Planning Officer’s attention regarding adequate
car parking as the property is situated on a bend opposite a road junction
b. Planning application no. 17/P/1494/HHPA Tree Cottage, Backwell Common, Backwell – Prior approval request for the erection of a single storey rear extension with a pitched roof that would 1) extend beyond the rear wall of the original house by 4.0 metres; 2) have a maximum height of 2.7 metres and 3) have eaves that are 2.3 metres high – Mr C Bensted
047 Resolved: Unanimously no objection, so long as it complies with NSC’s Green
Belt Policy
c. Planning application no. 17/P/1586/F 27 Station Road, Backwell – Increase ridge height to extend first floor living – Mr Edward Simon
048 Resolved: Unanimously no objection, but would like the Planning Officer to
consider a condition that because the property is opposite the school entrance
that construction vehicles unloading in Station Road avoid school times as
on top of the normal traffic, 12 coaches need to have sufficient clearance to
swing into and out of Meadow Close
049 There being no further business the Chairman thanked everybody for attending
and closed the meeting at 1905 hours
