We’re pleased to share some important improvements aimed at making our village safer and more convenient for everyone. These include:
- Six New Bus Stops funded by the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and S106 contributions: Six bus stops are being installed in the village, with four of them being solar powered. - New Puffin Pedestrian Crossing provided by Persimmon Homes by the Leisure Centre: The new puffin crossing’s installation is being managed by the BSIP team near Backwell Leisure Centre. This safer type of pedestrian crossing uses sensors to detect when someone is waiting and keeps the lights green until they’ve crossed. Detailed map available Here
