Annual Meetings

• Annual Meeting of the Electors – a meeting of local residents, usually held between March and June. The Parish Council Chair calls and, if present, chairs this meeting.
• Annual Meeting of the Council – typically held in May (or shortly after local elections in election years).

Regular Meetings

• Full Council – usually on the first Thursday of the month at 19:30.
• Planning Committee – usually on the third Thursday of the month at 19:00.

Working Parties

• Meet informally throughout the year to discuss issues and make recommendations, but they do not make official decisions.
• Our current working parties include:
  • Right of way and highways
  • Enhancement
  • Parish council office
  • Finance
  • Communication and public relations
  • The neighbourhood plan
  • Fareigh field
  • allotment

Public Participation

All Full Council and Planning Committee meetings are held at the Parish Hall and are open to everyone. Early in the meeting, there is a short slot where members of the public can make comments or ask questions on agenda items. You are welcome to stay for the whole meeting, except when confidential matters are being discussed.
